WordPress

Having worked with WordPress for at least 3 years, I have helped build, maintain and refresh current WordPress built sites. Keeping up to date with the latest additions for WordPress, I make sure that your site is built with the latest code standards. I also have experience building custom plugins, API consumption and API generation.

I’ve worked with a lot of theme skeletons, right now preferring to work with Sage which was built by Roots.io.

Vue/React

Having worked a lot with Vue over the last 3 years, I have been able to incorporate a lot of Vue based components or basic SPA applications. With the flexibility, speeds and ease of use with Vue, it makes for a perfect framework for your site. I’ve also worked extensively with React to build similar web components as I would in Vue. While more robust and perfect for big scale apps, there is a reason it is one of the most desired JavaScript frameworks out there.

My focus as a WordPress Developer, is a clean, easy to use WordPress theme that you, the client, can manage with no effort.

When it comes to developing a custom website for a client, I like to turn to WordPress to see if that meets their needs. While it is easy to just drop in a paid theme, you can easily be left with 300 options that you’ll never use. Themes I build come with what you need, and none of the bloat that’ll slow your site down. With design in mind, I turn to the Bootstrap CSS Framework to keep the site in a nice, neat grid.

However, I do not just do WordPress websites. I can build out smaller CMS websites that are lightweight in framework and file size. This is suited for companies/businesses/portfolios who don’t need the full power that WordPress has to offer, but instead just a basic way to upload content, add images, adjust links, and let the website do the rest.
